The goal of The Knowledge Impact in Society (KIS) project is to increase the rural economic vitality of Eastern Ontario.

To achieve this goal, the KIS project will translate academic knowledge into recommendations for practitioners like entrepreneurs, municipal politicians and other community leaders.

The KIS project is a joint venture between several organizations within the Queen’s School of Business and the greater Queen’s community; regional, provincial and federal government agencies; and the fifteen Eastern Ontario Community Futures Development Corporations (EO CFDCs).
